Walk in the Woods

P1050960Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

On our walk we ran across several huge rock/cliff formations tucked way back in the woods. The shape of this one reminds me of a beached ship. (Photo with my sister. 🙂 )


Scanning my horizons in search of lost lands


A cleft in the rock – reminded me instantly of the words to the famous hymn: “Rock of Ages, cleft for me, let me hide myself in thee!”
